18th Birthday Cake

I made this cake for a 11x14 Wilton pan. I used vanilla boxed cake mix and Wilton homemade buttercream icing. I iced the whole cake smooth in white and I placed a oval piece of paper in the middle- then sprayed blue and black diagonal stripes using Wilton's canned spray color, I took off the piece of paper leaving the middle of the cake white. The black wasn't as black as I anticipated it would be but it ended up looking alright. I then drew free hand a flame circle border in black using tip #2.. and wrote happy birthday with tip#2 as well. I made a black shell border around the bottom and sprinkled the entire cake w/ black sparkle sprinkles. Hope you like it, the birthday boy sure did! Thanks for looking!
