21st Birthday Cake

21 of everything!
I made this cake special for my sister Maresa who turned 21 this past year. I put alot of work into this cake because she is very special to me.
The icing on this cake is butter cream. I used royal icing for all the flowers on this cake. On this cake there are 21 rosebuds,21 big roses,21 wine glasses filled with icing and 21 candles. This cake is 3 layers and I cut the 2 and the 1 out of cake and put wooden dowels through all three layers to keep them upright. For the vines i used the regular butter cream icing and draped them all around the cake. The Bottom layer is a large round pan. The middle layer i baked a medium round cake and cut the heart shape out of that. The top is a 2 and 1 and i baked a small round cake and cut the numbers out of it. I added leaves all around the bottom for decoration and them inserted the 21 big roses in the side they looked awesome. Also just for a little extra decoration i added 4 pastel colored candy balls to each of the 21 wine glasses.
I had a really fun time making this cake and it was a big hit at the party!!
