I baked two cakes, an 8" round and a 12" round, double layers. Then iced them light pink and separated them with a Wilton plate and pillar set.
| I piped on hot pink hearts, made borders, writing, and lots of roses. Then I used some Angelina ballerina toys that my daughter had and some I got from Amazon clearance to make a Ballet studio between the tiers. Then taped Angelina to a wooden skewer to make sure she was the star of the show and added some full size roses. | ![]() |

I made a simple Angelina cake for my daughter's 3rd Birthday.
First I made a basic sheet cake (her favorite flavor- strawberry). I used marzipan and shaped it into a head, body and tail. Since the marzipan is colored, I rolled it in powdered sugar to make her white.
| I used a basic decorator's icing recipe and colored it pink to add her birthday cake decoration dress/tutu and her nose, and ears (of course I should've added ballet shoes too!) I used mini semi sweet chocolates for her eyes. | ![]() |
I had fun making this cake and my daughter was thrilled- she even preferred eating Angelina over the cake.
