Animal cupcakes

I made these for a school event. They are vanilla cupcakes with buttercream icing on top. I made fondant animals to stick over the buttercream. I made:
1. A frog, using green fondant face with yellow eyes (dotted with blue edible ink pens) and a red fondant smile. Personally I think he came out the best, and the cutest!
2. A ladybird, using red fondant with black head, black spots and details drawn on in edible pen
3. A penguin, using black fondant with a red beak and yellow eyes, pupils again dotted on with edible pen
4. A lion, using yellow fondant face with a red mane (made by cutting triangle shapes and gluing onto back of yellow circle with buttercream), black fondant nose and details on face drawn on with coloured edible pens.
Not perfect, but still cute!
