Baby Shower Bear Cake

To create this baby shower bear cake, I baked a 12 inch and 8 inch round cake. Each cake had a cookies and cream filling and each cake was iced with buttercream and covered with fondont.

I trimmed each cake with blue borders and added fondant stars, cut outs, and baby bracelets on and around each cake. I then placed 4 baby blocks on top of the 12 inch cake and added a separator. Next, I placed the 8 inch cake on top of the separator .

I baked a bear cake and placed it on top of the 8 inch cake using a thick wooden rod to hold it in place and star-tipped it with white and blue icing.

The cake was a big hit at the shower.
