the idea of my baby shower cake came from a Wilton book.the flavor of this cake is a layer of vanilla,add filling apply strawberry layer and add filling apply the blue layer just add blue food coloring to the vanilla before baking.the frosting is made with pastry pride frosting, decorated with fondant, color fondant roll and make round circles for the sides cut the circles in half take a pizza cutter lightly make a pattern that looks like a baby blanket make other colors, use cookie cutters to make shapes stick to sides add pillers and stack the top add little baby’s , blocks,any thing you wish be creative this cake was a big hit everyone loved it inside and out

the cake is beautiful! i love how detailed you are with everything! great job! question though? I’m a rookie at making cakes. When using fondant is it suppose to be chewy? I tried using it once and it was too chewy. Maybe I did it wrong?
