My niece was going to have her 7th birthday at a local bowling alley so i kinda took that idea and ran with it. Bowling cakes arent as common so looking for ideas was kinda difficult. I decided to go for a bowling alley instead and thankfully it turned out alright. I actually made it a layered cake which would serve at least 30 people. The tint of the alley itself proved to be quite difficult to achieve but i finally got the shade i needed by a lot of trial and error. The bowling ball and pins candles i ordered off a website and the red gutters are made out of fruit by the foot. This was my first cake and it took me a long time to make but the end result was my niece loving it and the guests too.
