Bridal Shower Cake
Modern Bridal Shower Cake
This is a cake that I made my sister for her bridal shower. I used a huge square cake pan for the bottom and a normal round cake pan (2) for the top. I used two mixes for the bottom and one for the top. I piped all of the frosting and drew a large engagement ring on top of the round cake.
The bride/groom are very modern and hip and I wanted to create a cake that reflected their style. The bride loved it even though it wasn't exactly what I would have picked for my cake! I used straws to support the round cake and they worked really well. This cake would probably feed around 40 people I would think!
