The Birthday Candle Cake

My youngest sister's birthday was coming up. I had gotten several Wilton cake decorating with fondant books. I decided to be brave and try to make one for my sister.

The easiest part was baking the cakes. The fondant part took me 12 hours to do!! But the final out come was so worth it. Especially the look on my sister's face when she saw it. I was really proud of it and my husband couldn't stop bragging to friends and family about it.

I am trying to do this as a side job for people besides my blankets that I make. My next attempt will be for my husband's surprise b-day party in August.
