My daughter’s 11th birthday theme was “Candylicious” I created a cake based off a few ideas I saw on the website. I didn’t want to add tons of candy. But wanted it to look very colorful & sweet. Decorating was very easy. I baked 2 – 10 inch cakes & 2-6 inch cakes. I used a 8 inch cake separator to stabilize the 6 inch cakes from sliding. Neon Twizzlers were added to the bottom for piping & soft Life Savers were added to the top. 2 lollipops added to the top & curling ribbon. After I was done my three year old took a huge chunk out of the cake & ate it. so i had to fill in with 2 tablespoons of icing. Nobody even knew until I told them.

Thanks for the great cake idea! I love this! My daughter’s 7th bday is coming up very soon and I just couldn’t figure out what kind of cake to make. She loves lollipops and I love the bright colors in this! I agree, don’t want to go overboard with all the candy on the cake. I love just the big lollipop and curling ribbon. thanks for sharing!!
