I made these cupcakes to serve at my niece's first birthday. I used melted candy to make the heads and other candies on the cupcakes. To make heads I used Wilton's Candy Wafer Melting Tray filled with melted candy tinted fleshtone. When cooled i placed them on wax paper smooth side down. Using melted candy I drew hair and faces on to "heads". You can achieve the stand up hair by making sure you connect it to the head before the candy has cooled. It will lift easily from the paper once cooled. I made the remaining candies using a mold. Position atop frosted cup cakes. I displayed these on a Wilton cupcake stand.
