Construction Scene

This construction scene cake was done for my son's 1st birthday. It was very easy. I just made a sheet cake and iced it brown. It has been awhile but I think I used crumbled cookie for the dirt. I even dug a hole in the cake where I put the backhoe.

I bought the construction people at Wall-Mart and my son loved to play with them after his birthday. The pile of dirt to the left is cake cooked in a bowl.

Since this is his 1st birthday he got the pile of dirt cake for himself.
