Coolest 16th Birthday Guitar Cake

I made this 16th Birthday Guitar Cake for my grandson’s 16th birthday. It took about 12 hrs and much love and almost a whole pound of red fondant. The cake was yellow and I used 4 cake mixes and added instant vanilla pudding to the cake mix before I poured it into the cake pans.

The black icing was bought from a cake supply store so I wouldn’t have black coloring all over the place. I used silver thread for the strings and covered the base of the cake with red edible glitter. The red string holders are jujubeads and the silver on and off buttons are rolos covered with silver liquid coloring.

I am not such a good photo taker or cropper, sorry. My grandson loved the whole Rock Star venue and so did all our family.
