To make these Homemade 30th Birthday Mini Hamburger Sliders Cakes, I used 3 boxes of pound cake (added a bit of instant pudding for moistness), baked in a cupcake pan with the box directions and 2 boxes of brownie mix on a cookie sheet cut out with a small metal lid for the meat.
The cheese is colored fondant as well as the pickles and napkin. I used homemade butter cream frosting for all the sauces and shredded coconut colored greenish for lettuce. To make the buns have that mmm mmm buttery shine I made a simple honey glaze with honey and a bit of water then just brushed it on and sprinkled some seeds.
After that, I found a cool tray at a Dollar store and piled up the lil’ guys, stakin ’em with thin wood dowels to secure.
