I made this 40th birthday cake for my brother’s birthday. To make this cake I used a rectangle cake pan and for the decorations I used a liquor bottle shaped ornament, four small plastic wine glasses, handmade gift boxes in various colors and balloons.
First I covered the entire cake with butter icing and I used tip 2C and Kelly green icing color to decorate the edges of the cake. Then I used tip 3 to put squiggly lines and dots in royal blue icing.
Lastly I put some mixed fruit in two of the wine glasses. The cake turned out simple but something very special to my family.
