Homemade 85th Birthday
My sister-in-law asked me to make an "85" cake for my mother-in-law's birthday. This is what I came up with. I used an 11x15 sheet cake pan that had 1 white cake mix and 1 chocolate cake mix swirled together to make a marble cake.
I found number templates online that I printed and cut out. Placed those on top of the cooled cake and cut around the templates. I did a crumb coat (glad I did!) then decorated as shown using Wilton already made decorator icing (my favorite!)
My mother-in-law LOVED this homemade 85th birthday cake and has already asked me to make one for her sister who is going to be "80"!
