We used two simple vanilla cakes (one large and one smaller) for this Alien and Space ship cake. We used the small cake for the space ship and the large cake for the small cake to sit on and to write on. We used homemade cream cheese icing that we just food colored.
Also, we used marshmallows and M&M’s as the lights on the space ship. Lastly, we used a store bought writing icing for the writing on the cake and to make the alien.
One more tip- if you refrigerate the cakes then put on homemade icing, be careful because it will start to melt and it could become very messy as you can kind of see in the picture. Thanks for looking! :)
