American Idol Caterpillar Cake
Here is an American Idol cake I made for a friend's birthday.
These American Idol caterpillar cakes have evolved from being loaded with candy to piped. I often use a star tip for the piping, and for the cake part itself - cook the cake in an Angel Food Cake pan - then cut in half and put into an "S" shape.
