Homemade ATV Birthday Cake
This homemade ATV birthday cake was for a friend’s husband who loves four-wheeling. It’s a 10” round cake iced in blue buttercream. I found a silhouette of a man on a four-wheeler via the internet. I printed it, traced it onto chocolate fondant and cut it out with my small fondant cutting wheel. The letters and numbers on top are cut from chocolate fondant with fondant letter cutters.
The road signs and trees are fondant (cutters used for the trees). Words on the signs are piped in royal icing. The signs that aren’t visible in the picture said, “Over the hill.”
For the tread mark border I cut out strips of fondant and rolled one of my son’s freshly washed toy trucks over them and then attached them to the cake board with royal icing.
