Coolest Baby Blocks Shower Cake

This Baby Blocks Shower Cake is 1/2 sheet cake. I made it a basic yellow two mix cake but I added banana extract for a great surprising flavor. I made buttercream frosting and also added some banana extract to it to. I used fondant for the flowers. The filling is just a banana custard I made with vanilla instand pudding mix and whipping cream honey and banana extract, it was fabulous.

I made it for a girlfriend’s daughter. She loves bananas. I bought a small doll and covered it with alumimium foil around the middle the decorated it with frosting. The blocks I did with loaf pans and cut them in half and laid the on top of the cake to resemble blocks. I got the candles, and the little figures on ebay. I am really proud of how this turned out.
