Homemade Baby Bump Cake

We made the baby bump cake using other ideas from this site. The cake was a white chocolate mud cake and we used marshmallow fondant for the icing, green and white are the mum's favourite colours. The bump part was a large pudding dish and the breasts were made in a muffin tin. Marshmallow fondant is so easy to work with and make, it was silky smooth and tasted great.

We covered the cake in butter icing before adding the fondant. The board is a chopping board that we covered in green tissue paper and then Gladwrap. It was a big hit at the baby shower and the mum to be loved it.
