Homemade Baby Cake

This baby cake was made for a baby shower. I used a 9x13 cake. I froze the cake overnight. In the morning, I cut the frozen cake into the shape of the baby in blanket. I mixed both chocolate and vanilla for the skin tone coloring.

The blanket color is just plain vanilla icing. I used food coloring to dye some of the vanilla icing pink and some blue. I piped this on using a Ziploc bag with a corner snipped off. I outlined and drew the face with Wilton black icing. I tried to spray the cheeks with icing spray but it came out too red, so I just made the cheeks rosier by swirling it.
