Homemade Baby Cake

This Baby Cake is made with 12" layers. I used ivory, medium brown and pink food colors to make the marbled fondant.

The baby on top is made of polymer clay and hand painted. I placed a layer of foil between the baby and the top of the cake so no contact was made between the two. I used fondant strips embossed with a decorator press and dusted it with metallic food color. The blanket is a square of thin fondant.
