Homemade Baby Shower Bear Cake
I made this Baby Shower Bear Cake for my sister-in-law. This is a full sheet cake on the bottom and star tipped to look like a quilt. I piped four butterflies on the cake and star tipped them in. The next tier is a 10" cake star tipped all the way around and made as a base for the bear cake which is made out of pound cake and star tipped.
This cake took me 7 hours to decorate because of all of the star tipping. If you make the bear, make sure that you use all pound cake because on the first try, I didn't and it fell apart. Also be sure to grease and flour the bear pan.
Everyone loved this cake!
