Homemade Baby Shower Cake

This baby shower cake is a one layer sheet cake. I bought a baby and some accessories. I crumb-coated the cake in baby blue frosting. I placed a mound of the frosting underneath the baby to hold it up and covered the space in-between his arms with fondant. I then rolled out a small piece a fondant, just big enough to cover the top of baby.

I used buttercream to pipe the quilt with the star tip. I then used tip 104 to make white ruffles around the sides of the cake. Tip 3 or 4 will work for the pull out fringes. I piped the baby booties on with tip twelve and a tip 2 bow.
