Easy Homemade Sleeping Baby Cake

This is my favorite baby shower cake. So cute and the passy is real. I have made it for a few showers now and it’s always a big hit. I love this cake for showers as all the girls think it is too cute and all the guys think it is awful to ‘eat’ the baby. Lol.

I used an oval pan for the body and a small round six inch for the head. Cut the end of the oval to fit the small round. Do not cut the oval to be flat, the rounder the ‘belly’ the better. A paper lace doily makes the bonnet and sticks to the head after iced. If you scoop out a little for the mouth, you can stick in the passy ( it’s like a gift and a cake in one).
