This Barbie 2nd Birthday Cake is the first princess cake that I have ever made. I wanted to make one for my granddaughter’s 2nd birthday. I searched the internet for ideas and used some from various pictures. I used the Wilton princess cake pan to make the cake, the dress is white fondant on the bottom half and pink marble fondant was used for the drape. I used pink fondant to make the necklace and bracelet.
I used small fondant cutters to make the flowers that I put on the dress. Also, I make my own fondant, it’s easy to make and tastes much better than the fondant you purchase. I hope you enjoy.
