Sweet Homemade Pink and White Barbie Cake with Flowers

I made this Barbie Cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday. I used 2 boxes of cake (Pillsbury funfetti). I bought a set of 3 round cake pans all different sizes baked each size and stacked them all together(biggest to smallest). I covered a piece of a cardboard box in tin foil. The only trouble I had was putting the doll in. She was a little too tall, so all we did was bend her legs side ways until she was all the way down.

I used 2 cans of frosting (Pillsbury funfetti) that come with sprinkles. I colored the frosting pink with bright pink icing. And 1st put on a crumb coat and let it sit for about 20min. After that I globbed on a lot of frosting and smoothed it out. I added a little detail by going from the top and making swirls to give the look of a dress. I had a big gap where the doll was so I added a ribbon with the darker pink frosting all the way around.

At the end I put sprinkles all around the cake and added the candle. Everyone loved the cake and it all got eaten which was a surprise to me. This was the 1st cake I ever made and I cant wait to make more!
