Homemade Barbie Princess Cake

This Barbie Princess Cake was made for some friend's twins 5th birthday.

I used a pudding bowl for the base, used a Barbie doll with her legs removed, and secured her with lolly sticks. I then covered the cake in buttecream, and started building the frills up of the skirt from the bottom.

I made the bodice of the dress out of fondant icing, and used the end of a paintbrush to dimple it, I then put small edible sparkles into the holes. I finished it off by making a pasmina out of fondant which I wrapped over her arms, and used pink lustre dust to make everything sparkly.
