Pretty Homemade Barbie Princess Cake for my Daughter

I got so many ideas from all the submissions on this site, so I wanted to add mine too.

I used a small pampered chef batter bowl and 2 round cakes that i cut down to scale. I had lots of trouble getting the bowl part of the cake to cook properly, took way more time than stated.

I got a Cinderella doll because the hair was already up and it came with a crown. The dress is made from homemade MMF, which is sooo super easy and delicious… I ate way too much of it while assembling the cake. I found it easier to work with right after I made it rather than the batch that I had made a few days earlier, it was more pliable. I wanted the star flower designs anyways and they were good for covering up the little imperfections.

y daughter just sat and stared at it when she got up in the morning, that was priceless. I used the clear elastics that came on her shoes to wrap around the number candle and her wrists.

My daughter LOVED her homemade Barbie princess cake.
