This Barney and Friends Cake is very simple. The tricky part is of course when you shape Barney, PJ and baby Bop’s bodies with the sugarpaste but I studied them carefully from a picture and the result was in my opinion very good.

Then I wanted to create a colourful covering for the cake which will serve as a background for the characters and thought what is more colourful then a nice rainbow? So I cut out some sugarpaste stripes of different colours and placed them like a rainbow on the cake. I also placed the birthday boy’s name on a cloud and did some other small decorations to make the cake more pretty.
