Baseball Bat Cake

My son loves playing baseball so I decided to throw him a Phillies baseball birthday party. I made tickets on the computer and used them as invitations. I already had plans to make baseball cookies however I needed a baseball bat cake idea.

I made the cake in a 11x5 pan. I cut the sides of the cake near the handle. For the handle of the bat I used mini powder donuts and for the end of the handle I used a regular size plain donut and just put icing on it. Even though milk chocolate icing would have been better for the color of the bat, the icing I used (Cream cheese) is my son's favorite so I had to go with his favourite.

The cake was easy to make.
