This Beach Birthday Cake was made for a 50th, and it was surf and beach themed as requested.

It is chocolate cake with vanilla frosting sandwiched between and iced in butter cream icing. The surf boards are handmade from fondant.

I think this is the "neatest" done cake in the listings for this category. Just perfect. Very clean. I am curious though. Is that brown sugar or graham cracker crumbs on the beach? I always wonder which would taste better.
