Homemade Bear Cub Birthday Cake

This Bear Cub Birthday Cake was a cake for a man who loves grizzly bears. I formed the head and paws out of rice cereal treats, the fur is done in Wilton's decorating icing I got at Walmart. I love this stuff because the texture is perfect and taste is excellent.

I formed the nose, eyes, and claws from white fondant. The cake is yellow Betty Crocker, two boxes for two squares. I frosted the cake with regular chocolate frosting and used the Wilton's to make the fish design on top. All colors are just mix n go food coloring we all have access to.

I always bake the cake first, then frost, then I made the bear's head and paws. Then decorative iced on the fur and then added the nose, eyes and claws.
