Homemade Beer Cake Design
This Beer Cake Design is a white cake with buttercream icing and pineapple filling. I stacked the cake using four 8 inch squares and iced it with white buttercream and cut it to size. I placed it in the freezer to crust a bit before covering with marshmallow fondant.
I airbrushed the panels with blue coloring and cut out the lettering with a small knife and applied with water. I didn't give it time to dry as you may see the blue on the letters. I piped the water on the bottom and sides with buttercream icing to give it that water affect. The bottle is made with sugar and corn syrup and I used the label off a bud light bottle.
This is my first beer cake. It was a test but fun.
