Homemade Ben 10 Birthday Cake

I made this Ben 10 Birthday Cake for a friend's son in July 09. I got the idea from a web sight.
I cooked a 12" round chocolate mud cake and iced it with ganache.

I then covered the cake with green fondant. I used baking paper to copy a picture and then cut the shapes in the right colours and placed it on the cake to make the picture of Ben 10. His head, arm and watch I made in 2D using fondant and then placed some green sparkle editable gel on and around the watch for effect.

I iced the board with butter cream and black food dye and made the letters and number out of fondant also. The cake was a big hit, he loved it!
