Homemade Betty Boop Birthday Cake

I made this Betty Boop Birthday Cake for my daughter's 14 birthday. It was a big cake but we had a lot of people over to celebrate.

Instead of rolling the fondant with the coloring (because it would make the fondant a pink color), I painted on the fondant with the red coloring to make it a bright red. The silver beads were edible. I'm not sure what they are called but I got them at a cake supply store.

The little dolls and balloons are easy to find at party city. The big ceramic doll was borrowed.

P.S if you want to do a big cake like this one or any other big cake start early.
