I made this Big Top Cake for my son Kai’s 1st birthday. I reused the theme from my baby shower, decorations and all. This cake was a super easy cake to make. I used 2 boxes of cake mix. The cake has 3 layers. 2-10 inch & 1-6 inch on top.
To enhance the look of the cake I used Gobstobbers to outline the bottom. Fruit roll-ups to add stripes to the top. Added a blue sprinkle star in between the fruit roll-ups. Topped it off with 2 giant Carnival pops. I purchased single letter & number candles in different colors.
The cake was a hit. Everyone thought I purchased it from a store. Many of my friends don’t know I bake & design my own kids birthday cakes. Now I have orders up the ying yang.
