Homemade Blue Princess Cake
I wanted to make my niece a cake for a birthday. So as I scanned a bunch of cakes on this website and was inspired to make a Blue Princess Cake.
I baked the cake in a doom bowl. I use the remaining cake mix to make cupcakes (good thing because my niece didn't want to cut her cake), she ended up taking it home.
I purchased the doll from my local dollar store. I used blue food coloring to tint the frosting to match the doll's hair. I wrapped blue laffy taffy around the doll as the top of her ball gown. I saved some of the original white frosting so I could pipe around the doll's waist and bottom of the dress.
As always, I hope my cake inspires you.
Happy Baking!
