Homemade Boy Scouts Blue And Gold Camping Cake
This is year is the boy scouts 100th blue and gold anniversary. So for my son’s pack I decided to do somewhat of a tribute cake using all their ideas. So I asked every den what they thought of scouting and they overloaded me with ideas. However, I managed to put each of their ideas on the cake.
The cake itself feed around 100 people. I used butter cream frosting for the entire cake. The mountain was made of rice crisp treats and fondant. All the little figures were made of either gum paste or fondant and the rocks were chocolate covered popcorn. There were a total of 3 different flavors of cake vanilla, strawberry, and confetti.
All in all the entire cake took me over 4 solid days to create.
