Coolest Bucket of Chocolate Peanut Butter Goodness Cake

Inspired by a random Facebook pic of what looked to be a cake with kit-kats standing around it and filled with M&M’s, I decided to try and adapt it for my Reese’s loving family

Warning! I’m pretty sure I gained 5lbs just creating this cake. All that sugary goodness in one place is probably illegal in a few states!

The bucket of chocolate peanut butter goodness cake is 2 boxes of cake mix. I made each box separately and baked them in a 10in round pan. Once cool, I stacked them and frosted with peanut butter frosting (really, just white frosting with peanut butter mixed in!).

I used buttercream frosting to stand 27 nutty bars on end surrounding the cake. The bars came up about 1/2 inch over the top of the cake which I then filled in with 1 family size package of Reese’s miniatures and 1 king-size pack of Reese’s pieces. Added the gold ribbon for looks and because I was paranoid of the bars falling down.

I presented to birthday boy and big brother and you can see that they approved!
