John's Dozer Cake
I made this bulldozer cake for my son's 2nd birthday party. It was a hit. The cake consisted of 2 9x13 cakes stacked on top of each other. The blade and top portion of the cake is 2 loaf pans divided and shaped.
The roll cab and blade lifters are made with pipe cleaners. The tracts were made from 1 8inch round cake and shaped to look like tracts. Then I iced it with an 18 star tip and outlined it in black using a 18 star tip. The pipe is a small wooden rod covered with icing. The dirt is crushed Oreo cookies.
The icing recipe I used was the Wilton buttercream. I wrote happy birthday on the dozer blade.
