Homemade Burger Cookout Cake

My fiance loves his charcoal grill to make burgers on so I decided what better cake to make for him than a burger cookout cake.

It is a 2 layer 9-in. round cake frosted with whipped chocolate icing. I used mini-marshmallows coated in cocoa powder, then dusted with powdered sugar for the briquettes. The grates are piped grey icing.

For the burgers I used a muffin pan that makes only the tops, then frosted over them with orange tinted icing. I added flames using the leftover orange icing with red dye slightly mixed in.
