Homemade Butterfly Birthday Cake

I made this Butterfly Birthday Cake for my daughter's 9th birthday. This year she wanted a butterfly cake so I decided to make her one since butterfly cakes fuel my fantasy for cake decorating.

For the cake I used a 9 inch cake pan. I made the cake with ground walnuts and hazelnuts and added a cup of cocoa. I made coconut and jelly cantaloupe filling.

The icing is made with green,yellow and pink food coloring. Borders are made of spaghetti strawberry flavored jellos.
