Beautiful Butterflies
These pretty little butterflies were surprisingly easy to make. I drew out some butterflies onto wax paper and traced the lines with melted milk chocolate. I also used milk chocolate to make bodies for the butterflies. I filled the middle of the butterflies with melted white chocolate but have tried many other colors. While the chocolate is still liquid, I sprinkled them with colorful sprinkles. Then I refrigerated them until the chocolate was cold and firm.
I iced the cupcakes with a thin layer of vanilla frosting. Then to give the wings a raised looked I placed 2 M&M's on each cupcake to the wings would look "open". Place the wings on top of the M&M's on an angle, place a butterfly body between the wings and you're done. So Pretty:)
For the remainder of the cupcakes, I alternated scoops of purple and white icing in my icing gun for a swirled effect. Very Pretty.
