Cute Homemade Candyland Cake for my Daughter

For my daughter’s 8th birthday, she wanted a Candyland cake. I initially thought this would be impossible, considering I am far from Betty Crocker! But, I decided to give it a try.

I bought a Betty Crocker yellow cake, and whipped cream frosting. I had a friend spray green across the top to add color for grass. For the border, I put life savers, but you can add starlight peppermints if you want to change it up.

For the top, I used candy hearts, heart lollipops, starburst for the lane and used writing gel for her name and happy birthday.

I also used small ice cream cones with frosting piped inside and put gummies on top. For the marshmallow field, I bought miniature color marshmallows. I used candy snowcaps and Resse’s peanutbutter cups with chocolate frosting piped on top. I also used candy canes as well.

It turned out beautiful and all the children had a choice of their candy. It was easy and fun!
