Homemade Care Bears Birthday Cake

Homemade Care Bears Birthday Cake

I made this Care Bears birthday cake for my daughter's 1st Birthday. It was a Care Bears theme.

The big cake is made of two layers: Bottom is two 9 Inch rounds (Chocolate), Top is two 6 inch rounds (White). Both decorated in Blue Icing with clouds

The Little Cake is two 4 inch round Marble (made with left over batter from 6" cakes) decorated the same. This was her individual cake.

I made the slide out of a thick but bendable piece of plastic. I used the cake pans to make the pattern which I drew on first before cutting. I also iced the slide.

The Care Bears was a toy set I got at a local Hyvee.
