Homemade Cars Birthday Cake
This Cars Birthday Cake was an easy cake to make. I started by making a sheet cake for the bottom. The car is made out of pound cake, which is good to use. It carves easier and does not crumble like a box cake.
I shaped the car from the pound cake. I then rolled out the fondant in the many colors. I covered the cake with the fondant. The detail work was either painted on with food coloring or cut out of fondant.
I cut the letter for the writing out of the left over fondant. The kids went crazy over this cake. Have fun making your cake.
