Homemade Cars Graveyard Cake
This Cars graveyard cake was a birthday cake for a 9 year old boy. He loves Cars and his birthday was on Halloween. So I combined them. The "grave yard" was made from brownie mix that was hallowed out. The Cars characters were pre-purchased and wrapped in paper tape and everything else was edible...colored coconut and molded chocolate tombstones, etc.
I also added strawberry lemonade "ghost" and "pumpkin" cupcakes on stands on each side with molded "fingers" atop some too. And my gift to the birthday boy was a 1/2 lb chocolate rat with a red eye and blood on his fangs. LOL
It was a HUGE hit!
