This Casino Birthday Cake was made for a friend’s husband for his birthday.
There are three tiers of cake, one 8 inch, one 6 inch, and one 4 inch. You cant really see the top layer because the casino sign is covering it, but it is there! There are 2 layers of cake on each tier. All the poker chips signs and playing cards are edible. They were made from chocolate, and I used a mini muffin pan to mold the poker chips.
The playing cards were molded with a mini loaf pan. I printed out pictures of casino signs I found on the internet. Then I took a piece of wax paper and laid it over the picture. Then I traced the outlines and words with melted chocolate.
It was time consuming but it worked out really well, it looked awesome. Everyone really loved this cake.
